I've got nostalgic pavement, I've got familiar faces, I've got mixed-up memories, And I've got favorite places

A few days ago, I was driving in the light rain, and flipping through radio stations, I became seduced by one particular song on Indie 103.1. And so, being the multitasking driver that I am, I hastily managed to text myself inklings of the lyrics and it wasn't until today when I finally googled the words to discover the artist/song-- Kate Nash, Foundations. Naturally, I ended up listening to another beautiful song of hers-- Mouthwash.

For some reason the upbeat chords and random lyrics have managed to give me an inexplainable bittersweet sensation.

It has incited a sense of tomorrow, a sense of change, a sense of action.
It's always incredibly refreshing to encounter a song that yields such positive emotional results.
